My name is Mimi. I’m currently attending grad school in NYC. Living in the city has its disadvantages (small kitchen, no baking supplies…), but how can I complain when I’m surrounded by such amazing food? I’m a full-time marketing student, so until I settle down and find a “real” job, I have time to do what I love best: travel, take pictures, eat, and bake. Here are some random facts about me:

1. Anthony Bourdain is my idol.

2. Present me with an opportunity to travel and I’ll take it. (Especially if there are beautiful beaches involved!)

3. I’ve loved baking ever since my dad bought me my first Easy Bake oven. Favorite baked goods? Simple fudge brownies.

4. I will try every food once, unless it’s one of the following: stinky tofu (a popular Taiwanese snack), durian, or anything that contains mayonnaise, ranch, or thousand island. 

5. I’m far from being a good photographer, but I love photography and playing around with various cameras. I recently got a film camera (fisheye lens) and am in the process of relearning how to use film…
